Pollyn, an electronic trio from Los Angeles, crafted a unique sound blending analog textures, vintage samples, and the ethereal vocals of Genevieve Artadi. Alongside Adam Jay Weissman, also known as producer and artist Real Bad Man, and Anthony Cava on guitar, Pollyn earned comparisons to acts like Portishead and Talking Heads while carving their own path. Their discography spans albums like Living in Patterns and Distress Signals and features collaborations with artists such as Freddie Gibbs and Roc Marciano. Known for their genre-blurring versatility, Pollyn’s work has been remixed by Nosaj Thing and Moodymann. Though they disbanded in 2017, their music remains a cornerstone of Los Angeles’ electronic scene.
